TextOWA is a packaged solution, custom build by CDS Solutions cc that is used to allow for clients with many terminal-based screens in their environment to be able to use Outlook email functionality on these terminals. Essentially the solution is a text-based outlook web client that can be used on Lynx, a free text-based web browser, which is available on most platforms.
TextOWA can be installed with a minimum of changes to the client's infrastructure, and does not require for any dll's or executables to be installed. A webserver running IIS is all that is required. This results in a very low risk installation.
